I just won my fantasy football league!

It’s a 12-person dynasty league a group of friends have run since 2007. My team, Billy Ocean, squeaked out a win in a low-scoring final thanks to strong Monday night efforts from Falcons QB Matt Ryan and Saints TE Jimmy Graham.

MyWorld, the digital literacy tutorial I worked on with colleagues at the Center For Digital Media, was recognized by the MEDEA Awards, which encourage innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education.

I hiked up Quarry Rock (Deep Cove, Vancouver) with my friend Taylor Kachmarski yesterday. Taylor shot a short time-lapse video you can view here.

Came across this game online, aimed at editors and designers. A fantastic idea that’s quite addictive…
